True, every pregnancy experience varies from one person to another. Tips on Surviving Third Trimester – My Pregnancy Journey

018

It won’t be long into your third trimester that you will start missing some aspects of the second trimester! And, while the third trimester might be just as bad as the first, the anticipation and excitement of baby is at an all time high!

The hardest part of describing the third trimester is the fact that it is a total roller coaster ride of symptoms that come and go. And it’s hard to know how long the symptoms will last and when, or if, they will come back.

Still, there are some typical things you will likely go through that I’ve listed below. I do my best to offer ways to help deal and alleviate the discomfort, but be sure to always consult your healthcare provider.

Also, I’m featuring some shots from our maternity shoot in the snow! The photos turned out beautiful, thanks to our incredible photographer Neffi Bergen! Perfect wintery shoot for a winter baby! Alright, let’s get started.

daniela-rey-357040

As a mom-to-be, with my first child, I know how overwhelming it can be to prepare for baby. Living in a materialistic world with constant advertising, it almost seems like one needs to buy a new house for all the baby things we apparently need!

My Pregnancy Journey – The First Trimester

cover photo

This is a milestone week. I’m now 20 weeks into my pregnancy – the halfway point – and time is starting to go by quite fast!

Finding out you’re pregnant for the first, whether it was planned or unexpected, will inevitably bring you to a place called: the unknown. As a first time mom, I felt like I knew so little about pregnancy after meeting with my doctor and doing research (which included binge-watching mom youtubers). Even though I had grown up exposed to babies and pregnant women, there is SO much that happens behind the scenes, on a day-to-day basis, that I was never aware of.

Today, I want to share with you what I experienced and learned in my first trimester. If you are newly pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, hopefully some of this insight will help you out. Every pregnancy is different, but if you are reading something I’m describing and you go “yes! That’s exactly how I feel! So glad I’m not alone!” then that’s exactly how I want you to feel. That being said, I’m not a doctor, so don’t ever hesitate to contact yours (or your doula) for advice or concerns!
